Yes, I got one on a youth draw hunt with the boys the last week of Oct. It's finally no longer red and looks healed but still hard and could be pulled off like a scab.
I just checked it's no longer able to peel off. It's still dark purplish and looks like a fresh scar.

Don't mess around. Take yourself and any pic's you have and go to the Dr. Get on Doxycycline. tic viruses can sit dormant for long periods before they show up. 2X Don't mess with this. Go to a specialist and have it checked out. Lyme and associated goodies are not to be fooled with.

I would get checked for Lymes disease. Look at the marks they leave on otter after biting them after you flesh them. Not good.

Go to the clinic, the doc will freeze it,excise it and put a couple stitches in it,then he will send the excised tissue away for testing. 5 minutes in the doc office.

Do not just get checked for Lymes. Have the Doc do a Tick-borne panel on you as there are several diseases that can be passed by ticks. My specialty was Erlichiosis. Sickest I have evr been in my life.
Moosetrot A guy in my beagle club found a tick in his beard and pulled it off, 3 days later he was dead from Rocky Mtn Spotted fever! It not just body parts that are left behind, it's injecting yourself with stomach contents by squeezing the body.

I have had similar reactions in the past. All of them have been from deer ticks. My doctor told me that when he has been in the woods he showers and washes from head to toe with Head and Shoulders shampoo on a body wash scrunchy. He said that the zink in the shampoo will cause any ticks to come off. So far it has been working well for me.
