Some of my favorite weather to trap in, start with cold traps and, no digging, no antifreeze, and they seem to smell
You less. Anyone else that likes this time of year for coyotes.

Not just trapping. I love rabbit and squirrel hunting in this weather. I look forward to the cold winter weather.

You’d hate it here. Melt and re-freeze daily nearly all winter long. I pull all my coyote traps when I get tired of fighting the weather, usually mid December, and go to all exposed bobcat sets. Those are easy to keep working in snow/thaw/freeze conditions

Here in northern Alaska the cold weather is great. Keeps the traps from popping out from the freeze thaw. The snow is almost dry

When I get the opportunity in the upper peninsula of Michigan, I love it.

You could not even get into some of the best fur country if it wasnt for the freeze and snowcover to allow travelling over the rivers, lakes creeks swamps and muskegs.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
