My brother in law is a serious waterfowler, so I started hunting with him. The first few times I went were some of those bluebird days when nothing happens. I couldn't figure out why this was supposed to be so great. The next time out was one of those flight days where mallards were coming from everywhere and trying to land on our heads. Simply fantastic. I learned that day why a guy will put up with a lot of crappy hunts for a chance at one of those days!

Sorry for all the questions, but I知 asking because I知 going to try this recipe very soon. I have a few more ducks in the fridge that need cleaned, so I値l pick them Sunday and try this with a pair. Sounds kind of bizarre but I知 going to trust you lol!

John

yes just dont let the bag touch much of the lid
and try the no salt method

The old time addage was they were swamp ducks and to get the blood out of them with the salt soak
probably reverts back to the day when they did not have refrigerators and cooling so salt was the key preservative
