I read MANY threads here on my favorite website, filled with battle scarred trappers from all walks of life, who are suffering from severe pain. In the short version, during my 50's, I was diagnosed medically by several specialty physicians to have a section of hernia repair mess that was failing (bending and folding in my abdomen). The pain was like getting kicked in the privates all day. Every day. Unbearable. Save for what docs Rx'ed for me (high doses of narcotics/neuropathic meds/and on and on). I am financially blessed so I had over 25 medical surgeries in 6 states. I went to Cedar Sinai in LA. I was at John Hopkins in Baltimore. I was at Mayo in Rochester, MN. I was in San Antonio and Clearwater, FL several times each. The best of the best in surgeons, all "out of network" practice in these places and I was their patient. 5 very long years that no one really knew about except my wife, my children, my parents, and my pastor.
And then by grace I am sure, I met a pain management physician who herself had been healed by a medical device called an Equine-Equiscope. Dr. Stephanie Jones in San Antonio. She advocated for me to try this therapy and see how I responded. It was $150/per hour and not covered by insurance (not typical medicine you see) and since I had already spent $300,000 outta pocket over 5 years and had found NO relief from the best "modern" medicine can do... I thought "why not?" In three months, I was off all meds, a 1 on a pain scale of 1-10, 10 being highest (I used to say 14 cause getting kicked in the privates is unbearable) and the rest as they say is history. My wife Donna had one treatment and her chronic bursitis went away. My dad in FL was going to have carpal tunnel surgery and I pleaded with him not to, since that surgery is notorious for not working, and dad saw a clinician in FL and with one treatment.... no more Carpal tunnel.
I share this with y'all because we are family here on Tman and because most docs don't know about it. There aren't many clinicians who use the Equiscope or even know much about it?! The veterinary industry knows about it. Prize horses use it all the time. Pro athletes and trainers know about it. Pro athletes return to the ballgame in a fraction of the regular time after surgery using EE therapy.
As for me, Dr. Jones, in practice for 42 year as a physician told me, she's not sure how it all works, except that the proton level charge helps the body to do what it's made to do.... heal itself. I wouldn't be typing this without having met this doc and this machine.
Thought I'd share and I welcome any PMs about it. The company is Thorpe Industries and they have a "find practitioner" link on the site.
I developed a large hernia 3 years ago, about a year following colon cancer surgery and removal of a kidney. A female surgeon put 14” of mesh under the skin layer but not all the way inside my gut cavity. This prevents my intestines from growing to the mesh. The benefit of the “inside layer” technique is that should I require more abdominal surgery, the surgeon can easily move things around.
A good friend of mine had the old type of mesh surgery. He now has prostate cancer and several university hospitals have refused to operate on him because his mesh and his innards are now bonded together.
Glad you found a solution to your pain.

Good morning Jon. This therapy has been not just a game changer, but a life saver, literally in many cases. I am one of those. Dr. Jones MD, a highly ranked pain management physician in the San Antonio area, whose office I went to, was herself healed by this therapy. Dr. Jones herself could not move her neck for 10 years due to injury, and met a rep for the company at a medical meeting in Las Vegas. A 15 minute treatment at a conference center (she was not expecting anything to happen), resulted in her neck moving slightly about an hour later!!! She told me she was sitting listening to a speaker when she bent down to pick up a piece of paper that'd fallen.... and her neck moved! She said she raced back to the booth but the rep had gone for the day! She told me she was the 1st one at his booth at 8:00am next morning! "What'd you do to me?" was her question to the rep from Thorpe Industries. Dr. Stephanie Jones is a wonderful brilliant clinician who has purchased two machines for her office and sent her staff to be trained. She is booked solid for those machines and says it works on about 50% of patients. In my case, the scarring I'd had from > 25 surgeries in my groin area had restricted the natural blood flow which is the body's natural healing process. Dr. Jones' office would measure the shrinkage of scarring each time I had therapy and it shrank each week. I was in horrible shape physically and I won't say much more on an online forum, but I had 3 x one hour treatments for two weeks, 2 per week for 6 weeks and once monthly for 4 months after that... and then my last treatment was about a year out. That was over 5 years ago now I guess.
I have referred my wife (BAD bursitis) - one treatment I have referred my father (carpal tunnel) - one treatment I have referred two good friends (sports injuries to lower back and shoulders) - a few treatments each All responded 100%
I have no idea why modern medicine doesn't use it? Well, I have some theories and those theories are this therapy uses the body's ability to HEAL. It's worth the effort if suffering is where someone's at. The kicker is the practitioners are a diverse bunch and widely scattered. I met a top notch medical doctor using it. By grace.
Blessings, Mark

Maybe this would be the ticket for my wife’s headaches. They’ve done all types of tests and can’t find a reason for them, even after being to different specialty headache clinics. They keep them somewhat manageable with Ubrelvy, amotryptoline and the usual over the counter medicine. Every 3 months she gets Botox injections in her scalp. Tons of them and that helps but within a few months she needs more.

They do use it for migraines DRF. The staff who worked on me and who were trained to run the EE therapy machine, treated themselves, and some of them suffered from migraines. The therapy is non-invasive where they hook two brass leads up to certain spots depending on where they're treating and run current between the two points. Doesn't hurt or anything like that.
Like I said, the kicker is finding someone who has the therapy available in your area.
Blessings, Mark

The high dollar horse industry uses this therapy routinely for all sorts of bodily healing issues. The human medical science industry is built on pills and IV therapies and IMO is resistance to change that model.

I have known of this treatment for horses, it is extremely effective. I had forgotten it also has glowing reports in helping pain in humans too, inflammation, pinched nerves , skeletal issues, nervous system , etc.
After all, living beings are made of electromagnetic currents , which affect all aspects of the body, and in healing.
I have seen this treatment work wonders with horses , with such large skeletal and nervous systems, in hard use, it is no wonder that this same treatment would have glowing success in humans .
It is a cousin to what I call the QX machine, a bio feedback system that also has amazing success with humans. I have had experience with the QX myself, and it worked for me every time. It is operated similarly to the EET, but a bit different .
EET, requires trained operators, of course. This link shows places that have these centers , across the country.
Even for those who only want AMA approved treatment, even the Mayo Clinic acknowledges very good success on these systems.
Nothing is easier than being hooked up and scanned by the EET Feedback computer. Non-invasive, no surgery, yet so effective.
If I had ongoing pain, which is inflammation , pinched nerve, nervous system trouble, skeletal , or anything else that this treatment could detect and help , I surely wouldn't hesitate in commuting to the nearest outlet. In viewing the website's map, there's a clinic for EET in my state. Very nice.
Bio Feedback has been used in hospitals for various treatments for a long time.
This machine is a brilliantly refined system that doesn't just prescribe drugs or treatments that try to suppress symptoms, instead of searching out the cause, and opening up the body to aid in healing itself.
I have known a thing about veterinarians...they so often spearhead such good, effective treatments , that main stream medical has refused to acknowledge . Those who deal with animals have long respected and known , and used many of these treatments in success.
I called this office in Carmel, indiana… they said 150 bucks per session,, which is about an hour. The one in Clayton Missouri hasn’t responded to my messages
