I don't believe they were gay, they went on to have wives and kids. Very underrated band they call them a Glam band. I say they rock out for their day, and still good today. But Kiss, and all the hair bands that followed never looked like chicks. As a young teen my walls were postered with GnR, Cinderella, etc.... but those guys looked like guys with long hair. These guys, Sweet, were obviously intentionally trying to look like women, and they succeeded. If they weren't gay, I guess the shock value is what they were going for, lol I guess I'd call them a one hit wonder with Ballroom Blitz as I don't believe I've ever heard another song by them?
