where are you guys finding 4.10 shells I'm looking for 4-6 shot ,, what do you guys like to hunt with ?

I still haven't found any in this area. But like to hunt with that size shot. 4 or 6 shot.

I like 3 inch 6 shot. I haven't had to look for any because for some reason I have a pretty good stock of .410 shells.

Depends on what your shooting- I shoot 7-1/2 out of my Judge and same for my Savage 42 for grouse

Any I have found were #8 or #9 shot...Back during the last ammo shortage I considered selling my 3 .410's a single, a pump and side by side. I kinda thought if I couldn't find ammo the firearms may not be worth much, I hung on to them. Then for a while Walmart had lots of .410, I stacked it up heavy. Now I have plenty of ammo but am afraid to shoot any as I have not seen replacement on the shelf. I now use mostly 20 gauge...I do expect it to appear on store shelves anytime the demand is there and 12, 16, 20 and 28 are pretty well stocked now.

My buddy in Texas found 1 box at Walmart for me other than that they are non existent in my area

I shoot what I can find at this point but prefer 7-1/2.

I found a case of 3” #4’s on ammo seek a month or so ago. That’s my rabbit load in the .410.

They’re hard to find, but not impossible.

They are out there on-line but they aren't $4.99 a box anymore.

The Walmart here get it in now and then, and I have a friend at the local Cabelas that lets me know when they get some in, either place it’s generally gone in an hour or so if that, and last night I was at Boons Fine guns in Isle Mn and they had some sitting on the counter

It’s out there but right now it’s like 22 round a while back, gone as soon as it hits the shelves

Generally I prefer 3 to inch 6s or 7s they seem to work best in my savage 24 or dads old mossburg bolt action

oddly enough, our local walmarts have had a decent supply of 410 shells. I don't have a 410 so I have no need for any, but it seems like when they don't have anything else, they at least have some 410 shells.

bunny hunting.....that was a blast back in the day, many of the swamps around chassell were crawling with snowshoe hares! wasnt uncommon for the dogs to be pushing doubles.

So far, I haven't had much luck finding any. There's a gun show coming up, so I'll see what I can find there.

I found some 2 1/2 #7.5

and was "lucky" to be out the door with 25 rounds of Rio for $26.xx

that was the only stuff I found

Don the store owner said he was getting a little in here and there but it was selling as soon as he got it

the 3inch #6 sell the fastest

month ago i bought 6 boxes 3 inch 410 nbr 6 for $5 a box. Winchestors.... albiet fm a buddy

If you shoot a lot of .410 it's definately worth considering reloading. It's one type of ammo you can still save money on. Get yourself a little mec sizemaster. Hulls are super expensive right now, but if you buy a few hundred good quality and get some powder, primers, wads and shot, You'll not only get hooked on reloading, you'll probably never be out of shells again. I reload 12, 20, 28 and .410. If I run out of shells it will be because my house burns down.

I have 3 cases of 410 coming in to the store. Should be here early next week. I'll still honor my deal with you guys. It is 7.5 shot, but at least it's something. You'd have to pay shipping, but I can do $20 a box. I'd make $1.11 on it. It's the first I'll have in this store in over a year. It was available, so I jumped on it. If ya do a case (10 boxes), it might be worth doing, but one box at a time probably isn't going to be cost effective. Hazmat fees are killer.

I like 7 1/2 3" on pheasants and 2 1/2" #4 on running rabbits. A 3" #6 is a good compromise for multi-species.
