I thought most touring male singer troupes, choirs, stage performers and all guy groups were gay and have been since the days of big musicals.

I assume openly gay means actively unrepentant. If it was formerly gay, that would signal a repentance of that sin. That would make a difference.

The Bible condems the "practice" of all sorts of sins. "Practice" means repetitive and ongoing. Anyone who openly flaunts an unrepentant, sinful lifestyle should have no part in participating with believers in worship or fellowship.
If they are repentant, then that is a different story.
