Kencove seems to be good balance between price/value. I've sent a few back for repair, always been reasonable. The nice thing is being a small company, when a customer rep gave me a hard time I was actually able to contact the manager directly.....he had a new energizer shipped to me next day. Have stuck with them ever since.

I guess I’m kinda old school but I still like Gallagher, with your old one it’s sad to say but it’s a throw away world and that’s how most customer service people treat customers.

I haven't used that exact charger but have used Parmak solar chargers around our bee hives and have been happy with them. Have a couple that have been in service for 15 years without issue (and only changed the internal battery once in that time).

We run one of those and about 8 solar parmaks. We can get parts to repair them when needed. Parmaks are the most popular around here. Been around for ever.

You might try an old fashioned farm store if you have one around. Sometimes they will know a local that repairs fence chargers.
