Sorry, but tried linking a story and this is all I got. But watch out, here they come!! Lol

A spring flood in 96 the Russian wild pigs swam over the fences. They were raised at that time for the European dining experience, go figure. The big 7 inch tusk males went to game farms in Tenn. The federal vets were not happy taking blood samples before export.

My first encounter was when squirrel hunting in a black spruce forest, the 22 cooey with big swales dug out in the sphaagum moss they were eating- it was not a moose because the snow was still in the 3 foot height= I backed out nothing like under gunned at the time.

They can swim faster than you can paddle a canoe, because we went after some in the marsh for 30 minutes and 3 miles later.

I know they're a problem, but.... How come you don't hear of these issues in Europe where these things are natives?
