I must have smelled irresistible at the Disco in 1970 something. Spring cleaning… every once in a while she will say …”Why do you still have this”??? This time -I got nothing.
Any collector value, sell or recycle?

I would think there's some value in those...besides smelling like one of the BeeGees.

Jeff-I just plain do not do anything with those or I would be pounding on his door. Thought about it with those wall hangers/hooks he posted.

Man I thought the couple two three I still have was to many. I don't see ones I have there in yours think yours are older? I know I have a steam boat and a level not sure what else?
My mom got the Avon stuff form a friend of hers. So I got the odd theme bottles and jewelry pieces for a birthday or something.
Cool though that you have that many them.

It was a big day in my life when Boones Farm came out with Wild Mountain Grape. Shared a bottle or two of it with a sweet (or sweat) young thing at the spillway in Stevens Point, drinking it out of stolen Miller Beer glasses. I was such a class act we threw the glasses into the spillway when the wine was gone...guess I saw that in a movie once. Then to my '61 Comet with the Brut tucked between the front bucket seats to continue the night of romance.........

I always kept a bottle of Pub in my box that held the eight track tapes in the front seat of my Buick. In the backseat was a box with h a w b a k e r s lures. Under the front seat was a bottle with a liquid made from blackberries. Each had their own time and place of use. Haha this was from the later 1960s. Seems like it was just yesterday.

I have the red shotgun shell and a brass colored rifle shell in my basement. Growing up, dad had a bunch of those in the back of the hall closet. Theyve definitely made improvements in the smell department.
Speaking of Avon, there was no greater scent than skin-so-soft. Had a giant bottle growing up with an old shop rag hung over it. That was the smell of river fishing-kept the gnats at bay.

Seems like I heard of the Avon bottles making a bit of a comeback lately. They were dead for a long time.

There's a large collectors market for those, especially when they're 50 yrs old or so!

there is some value there-you could sell on ebay or at a garage sale. Having the boxes are a plus. Why not go to ebay and look? You do not have to be a member to view ebay sales records.

When looking on ebay, there is a column on the left side where you can check boxes to determine your search. Towards the bottom you will see a "Sold" box. Check that and you will be able to see what folks actually paid for an item versus what are sometimes outlandish values placed on the item by the seller.

I use it all the time to figure out what folks may be willing to pay for an item.

I used to smirk when I heard people talking about 8 tracks. Old people and all. Now they no longer make cassettes, VHS, and cds may even be a thing of the past. Guess I'm becoming one of the old people. Turned in the radio a few weeks back and music I listened to was referred to classics..... when did I get old

I still have the pheasant shown at the top right of your pictures. I might still have the race car too.

Eh...wot?

Some of the stuff being played on the classic rock stations isn't classic at all.........it's just old. There is a difference.
