Free range they can destroy a place not much they wont get into and too stupid to scare off even when you shoot right next to them. I had them once but never again.

Turkeys can be a pain in the but. Chickens are a lot better. But Turkeys can be raised for a lot more meat.
God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

That almost looks like a Royal Palm- Bourbon Red cross. When we bout our Royal Palms we did straight run and bout twice as many as we needed. Wasn't hard to sell the extra toms when they got old enough to tell what they were. She said they were sweet grass turkeys. ? I wouldn't know My luck I'd get all hens in straight run

Sweetgrass turkeys are kind of rare. Ans $10 is a pretty great price. Can't get them cheaper than that from any hatchery.
Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

The ones I had years ago got into everything they picked holes in the siding, destroyed the TV antenna and roosted on the roof racks of the vehicles. I gave them to another guy and he complained about similar issues.

Turkeys can make you money faster than chickens if you’re selling them, dressed or not. They are dumb. They love tomatoes if you’re a gardener.

But I've never actually raised turkeys since I usually have chickens. Tell me more about it, please.

Don't let turkeys eat earthworms. That's what I have been taught. That's one way to get blackhead.
