Thanks guys for all the information. What I'm wanting to do is mark coyote sets and snares with a stick or weed stem inside the potential catch circle to verify a catch from a distance with binoculars. Pink just doesn't stand out very good for me it seems. Mainly day light checks so reflective stuff isn't much of an advantage. Hiding it from the public really isn't a concern for me.

I've cut longer pieces of trapping wire and just poked them in behind traps a few feet for that reason. You can even bend the top over in a "u" so it's more noticeable.

I mark snare locations with a clothes pin painted florescent orange, above or close to the snare. No fluttering ribbon to distract the coyote.

I reckon if you can see a deer tail flicker from some distance a piece of polyfill on a weed might show up.

I don't want anything flickering near my coyote/wolf snares.

White likely wouldn't work to well in the frozen world, but on a brown background it should be visible. Don't reckon it would spook a coyote either.
