I wished and wanted for several years. I could not find the Doc Holiday Kit. Not to mention it was $800 for the gun or $1,200 for the kit. I stumbled on it in a gun shop last winter. It was worth every penny.

I liked my doc holiday so much I went back to the gun shop a couple weeks later and bought the EL MALO they had.

…found some 45 long colt… 100 rounds… I shot center and my oldest shot just above it at 10 yards…. Patterns just fine … guess I’ll save the other 98 for harder times

I can do that, can even do the Bob Mundon triple shot, but that’s hard on the gun unless you replace the springs it will quickly get out of time, can shoot almost as fast slip shooting one IE two hand hold and hold back the trigger and thumb the hammer with your weak hand

Some of the new ones you can’t slip shoot because they have a reset built in now like this one where you have to let the trigger all the way forward before you can shoot again, outside that it shoots surprisingly well, I can see why the S&Ws were so popular on the frontier contrary to what most westerners show

I purchased a Ruger Sheriff version some time back in .45acp. Its called a Birds Head design.

Just right for close work.
