My family, (wife, myself and two sons) didn't move from Ohio to North Carolina. We moved here to Seymour Johnson AFB, NC after leaving Eielson AFB, Alaska. Seymour Johnson was my last duty station when I retired and went straight into trapping beavers for timber companies. Mom and dad were living in Canton, Ohio at that time.

That explains it then. I always remembered your dad being from Canton, if my memory serves me right, I always remember reading articles about his southern beaver line after Ohio’s season was over. I guess this explains how you ended up down there.
