That's a ridiculous argument. Sine the government wastes money let's make everything free? Let's give handouts to all Americans? I want my mortgage paid off too, because well, the government wastes money. At least the aid to Ukraine gets voted on in congress...it's not just handed out by POTUS edict. Maybe some of these colleges and universities sitting on billion dollar endowments can stop with the tuition increases. But then again, that's the entire scheme. The government hands out money like candy for college for useless majors that they know full well will never get paid back. The colleges? Why should they care? They get their money upfront. And knowing full well the government will continue handing out money, raise tuition every year. Nice little gig they have going.
