That's good to know! Proper application is important!

I had a stone coated steel shingle roof installed last year. Not cheap, but looks great and is holding up well so far.

He going to use 2x4 to bolt up to and the gauge of the steel is 29.

Depends on what is being included:
* Complete tear off of the underlaying roof
* Any insulation added under the roof
* The roof style of the panels and panel paint
* Straight gamble, hip, any dommers or valleys, roof pitch

29 ga is light (and least expensive) for Wisconsin with our winters and wind.
Better to spend a little more for 26ga or 24 ga for better durability and appearance.

For a straight gable (w/o tear off and insulation) it seams a bit expensive, if not in an urban location.
