Male an female fisher skulls....for you guys that catch alot of fisher is that a common thing to see that high ridge running down the middle of the male skull?

Just fishers? Can’t say I’ve seen on any other weasel. Maybe I gotta pay attention.

Much more pronounced on fisher.
Wolves and big bears have a noticeable saggital crest.

I’ve read the sagittal crest is much more prominent on adult male fisher than adult females. I have no personal experience though as they’re protected here. Bucket list critter for me. Hopefully some day!
