I always boil them.

When I order lobstah at a restaurant...they have Nevah asked me if I want it steamed or boiled..

They do have Baked lobster...but to me ..boiled is bettah

I don't know about lobster, but I prefer crab and shrimp boiled in sea water.

You have no choice but to eat them boiled. Because the oceans are boiling, and they are cooked when taken out of the lobster trap.

I will be going to Maine the last week in June. I do not want to look like an outsider when I set down to eat a hole lobster. When you eat clam's what a steamers?

Doubt you can really tell the difference if you don’t eat it often. Boiled crabs are juicy, and retain more of the flavor added to the boil. However, sometimes boiled are harder to pick, meat seems to stick to the shell if not cooked just right. When steamed, the meat comes out of the shell easily but you may have to add the seasoning you like afterwards ( dip in seasoning, butter, vinegar etc ). We went to Bar Harbor and ate lobster daily, love that stuff!
