By the angle of that pole, it wont be long for the individual phone lines in that cable to start to break - leaving a few more landlines out of order. but there are 500

Another thing is the angle is going to be a hazard for the farmer planting = liability for the current owner
but then if you look more closely the farmer is working a few extra yards into his field on the road allowance

what surprised me is the copper ground has not been taken off at 5$ a pound and there should be a pound going up that pole

Last utility on the pole assumes ownership. In this case it is the phone company.

My 2c, the phone company won’t hurry to deal with it until the lines are on the ground.

Easy fix ! looks like a new pole could be placed away further from the road and the phone stuff transferred over.
