if hope is your plan then face the fact that your plan sucks, no offense to anyone.

I'll stay here for now. If they are ever able to pass the gum control bills I'm gone

Good for you - you are obviously new to the overun game. We have been playing that since the 70's-- maybe before but I was born in 68 and only have a vague recollection of the 70's

If you live in MN, you would realize your hopes are futile. I'm out ASAP, which might be awhile yet, unfortunately. SD, WY or back to Nebraska is the plan.

I moved out of Pennsylvania six years ago and I’m glad I did. It has since went from a purple state to a blue state. It is only going to get worse. Once the Dems take over the State Senate, watch out Pennsylvanians. You are going the way of New Jersey and New York.

Leaving your state and not standing your ground is “spineless”.

No need to give in. I will stay and raise a family with morals I believe in. My every day life has not been effected. I am able to hunt , trap and fish in an area of abundant wildlife. Small commercial fishing operation with a full time grain farming operation 4 generations strong.

So to answer your question, no, I will not leave.

Most people don't have the guts to move out of state, fear of the unknown and all.

I can see both sides of that. But really, when you live in a state like IL or MD, you know it's pointless to try to fight the cities, right?

In our case, we had no real ties to IL. My husband has family in IA and MO but not IL. My family is back east. Our only tie to IL was an acre of land and a few fruit trees. We traded that in for 60 acres of land in a red state and planted an orchard.

Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

Because real estate is as good as gold.... and who knows what this country will look like in 50 years. Maybe by then your grandkids can move back to the RED state of Oregon to reclaim your family's heritage.

I got lucky there. I moved from home before my parents were old. Since then my Mom and stepdad have moved here where I live. My Dad is still healthy as an ox but I imagine if push came to shove he'd move down here too.

I saw it in Florida. IDIOTS from NY and NJ move there and then want the same STUPIS stuff they left. Getting to the point now that people will not sell to them.

God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

When I retire from Coal Mining I will be moving to Wisconsin because that is where our kids and Grankids live. It will be back to Oconto County but I will keep our Farm here for Hunting.

People normally move for family or financial reasons. Retirees often move to less costly states to make their savings and pensions go farther. I moved within my state to be near my son and grandson. Weather is another reason people move. Nobody in the South moves to the North, to shovel snow.

Red and blue matter of course.

You must mean IDIOTS from the CITIES of NY and NJ.
I live out in the country in NY state and love our great outdoors and our fantastic hunting, fishing and trapping. Our state has sucked politically my whole life. I'll stay on the farm and out of the city. You can have Florida.
Do they have much trapping in Florida? I don't see much posted about Florida trapping

We moved to NM 15 years ago, it's blue but I'am too old to pick up and move. We lost our public land trapping, I still trap the way I want to, the rest of the regs. are pretty simple. Our daughter has one year left of pharmacy school , she really likes ND told her to find a place with a shack and I'll stay out of the way.

Read what I said the state is except for the three counties with all the population which makes it a blue state
