The Sami, Eskimos etc would not benefit from white skin, they live in a climate that doesn't allow for exposed skin for much of the year and their diet of whale and fish contains huge amounts of Vitamin D.

Yes that is true, but most early settlements were along the water so it was not just Eskimos eating fish, whale and seal. Everyone lived a subsistence lifestyle and ate those foods that are rich in vitamins. It is said that Eskimos have thicker torsos, and heavier set to counter the freezing Temps. The people in Main, and Minnesota probably didnt run around shirtless for six months or more. And really didn't benefit from white skin either, or natives in the interior that dont eat alot of whale and fish would be pale skinned too then but are not.

With the advent in better transportation, people were not stuck at a certain place on the planet for thousands of years changing (evolving) to their environment. Now we hop on a plane and and go what took a thousand years before. I read about half of Guns, Germs, and Steel book but it got to in depth for me. It discussed why some civilizations out performed others.

Theories are not facts. That's the problem with a lot of modern thought.

Band, the way science works is a theory is postulated and then through proven scientific process facts are slowly produced that either support or don't the theory. The facts that support a theory are thoroughly vetted by other scientists looking for possible error. Sometimes new findings come in that puzzle everybody because they don't fit nicely into the main well supported theory.

Look up the Piltdown Hoax for an interesting read. It set the field back for decades.

All one has to do is look at the current covid hoax where the top 20 virologist wrote and signed a paper saying it absolutely didn't come from a lab. When in fact they knew it did.

Same goes for the cholesterol, and sodium hoax that all the medical industry has been pushing with no/weak evidence to back it up.
