I have not been to or in a MacDonalds for over 3 years. I can see why they are slowing down some. With the meals costing a lot, lot more millions of younger adults and teens don't stop by as much and with millions working from home now they can cook in or have meals or groceries delivered no need to sit in the drive thru lane for 20 minutes burning $3.30 gas.

Watch out for the MickeyD flim flam. Went to the club Sunday to shoot kitchen wasn't open ran over to local Mickey D's ordered two sausage burritos and a large coffee. Price of the burritos came up as $5.48 on the sign I said but the sign says 2 for $3.50, oh you have to ask for that price I said well then two for $3.50 and a large coffee otherwise you get nailed with the higher price!!!

You must ask for the special price!!!

Just went through the drive thru the other day signs all over looking for workers and sat in line for about 20 minutes, at least the food was hot.

Direct result of the crazy inflation.

The next option is run in the grocery and grab things to make sandwiches. Cheaper yet.

Wonder how long it will be before 30% of our business are out of business?

I usually lay out a few Deer Steaks or thaw a Ham or a Roast the night before. That way I have leftovers for work. Back when I was growing up Fast Food was for kids to get a Job through the summer or after school. It was NEVER considered a Career.

Uhm no. For most yes but the fastfood franchises would have never survived without those that wanted to be more than a french fryer or grill cook. It's pretty simple. If ya don't want to pay ten or twelve bucks for a McDonalds meal, then don't.

Something fishy about this story . McNasties along with alot of other businesses have been short staffed for a couple years now . Many running reduced hrs and closing completely on select days . Some fast food joints around here are running drive thru only due to no staff .

How the gonna lay people off and still stay open ?

I guess it's pick on Catch day, but you do realize a store manager of a fast food franchise makes less than I do after 1 year at Lowes, right? And I'm not even a department manager, lol.

I only get t the city about once a year, maybe two or three years sometimes.

But the first thing I crave to eat is a fat greasy Big Mac, and chicken McNuggets. I must be craving the calories in them, but after the first one, I don't need another or a year.

Had a craving for fries a couple days ago. Stopped at McDonald's to get a shake and fries and the shake machine was down. Fries were not even cooked... just warmed. Went to Arby's and got a really good sandwich and an excellent milkshake.
I haven't been to McDonald's for a long time before that and now I remember why.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.
