I agree Buck. It is amazing how deer survive during a winter like this but a lot of them do. I feel for the people along the Red river if spring comes to fast. There is going to be some bad flooding this spring.

You got that right about the flooding
going from no flood in Feb...to a couple of dumps south of us
to a repeat of last year...some remember that I posted a Cestina flight over the flooded Red River that I did

I will be north and east of Winnipeg for a spring bear hunt the end of May. I hope that area is not in the flood plane. Will be just a couple miles from the Red River.

Couple of feet means a lot in a flood plain.
north of the 50th they did not get as much snow as the valley got
good luck on your bear hunt...hopefully they have changed the rules to where you are allowed 2 bears this spring

Later planting seasons are already being factored into new crop prices. Delays in the northern regions typically can lower corn acres and increase bean acres. We don;t know about the wheat in the southern plains yet. If the crop looks poor there may be more spring wheat options for the northern states too.

Cancel...lol.

49er, got stranded at my cabin late April last year for 6 days. Had food/smokes n BEER.
Lots of red squirrels to shoot for entertaining. Twasnt all bad. Lol.
I'm only 1.5 miles off the red River.
Deer are gonna take a butt_whooping! frown


swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
