While Ice fishing, I once caught a 19lb. Pike on a Tip-Up. Luckily I had a gaff hook. My best Brook Trout is a 5 pounder caught in Northern Ontario.

Don't know if a 40# carp shot with a bow would qualify, but it was quite a battle on the handline once the arrow was placed.
Otherwise, it was probably this Muskie that was never weighed but released that I'm pretty sure would have topped 35#

132 inch marlin while overseas in home made boat, 1975? [Linked Image] Right before a typhoon and we had to hide behind an island till it was sort of over. Long time ago and this might be the only photo......jk

I have caught some Buffalo fish over 40# but this is my biggest gamefish. 46.5 inches long and around 38 pounds.

Nothing huge 16lb Northern pike and 8.6 lb walleye. Our bass don't get huge here so my biggest is just over 4lbs.

For me a 5lb bass caught on Christmas day. It was 65' F

75 lb yellowfin tuna. Marlins and sails are released. Several striped bass over 40 lbs caught in ocean. A nice cobia once. Wahoo in the 50s.


Freshwater best was a largemouth in NC that weighed 10lbs, 2oz. Lake Gaston.
