Hello fellow trappers,

It's been a ghost town around here and I'm not too happy about it frown

So let's get this place booming again..... I don't know about you all but my trapping season is over up here. Show some pictures of ya'll furs! And let's hear some stories!

I guess one of my biggest takeaways this season was instead of going into an area with my mind made up about what sets I would make and hunt around for a spot to make that set whether it was on location or not, you have to keep in mind that not everywhere on your line will be textbook perfect and you have to adapt your sets to whatever spot that is on location. I also used to think that what bait or lure I used was critical, but this year once I discovered how good trapping proper locations worked I caught critters on all kinds of baits and lures!

I'm just waiting for the ice to melt and then I'll be on muskrats till the end of April. Then it will be nest raiders for the bounty until I catch 59. Hoping to get in on a few spring beaver too.

One day I caught the biggest fox squirrel I have ever seen in one of my predator traps and I was holding it down to release it and it had a heart attack I guess and died so I ate it.
