Its a 35 HP and I love the thing. Punches way above its weight and is not having an easy life with me for sure. Filling the tires with beet juice is a must if you want to use the loader to its full capacity. Yanmar makes some of the best industrial diesel engines on the planet. The YT235 is made entirely by yanmar from engine to axles and the rest. and its made in Georgia. They also build tractors for JD and I think JD has Yanmar engines up to the 100 HP class of tractors. I have so far put 800 trouble free hours on it.
