Youkonjeff you ever watched them cut a soybean field? Obviously you didn't realize rabbits hide out in these fields. There just are not as many. Once again from personnel observation, when I was a boy you could stomp a brush pile and often times several rabbits would bust loose out of there. Nowadays you could stomp a 100 brush piles and be lucky to flush a single rabbit. When you bobcat trap you look for places that would hold rabbits to find them. I trapped three farms for about 5 weeks this past season in and around thick/rabbit cover. I jumped a total of 3 rabbits.

Yeah, complete bullcrap.

As has been explained in multiple posts on this thread; until about fifty years ago all predator numbers were purposely kept low for centuries. Every owl, fox, hawk, coon, possum and feral cat spotted while hunting was killed. And trapping of predators was huge.

"Unlimited predators"...LOL

Eh...wot?

Honestly some of you guys are so selfish all you can think of is yourself.

I wonder how much of you really care about the natural world or just care what you can take from it.

People like you are lost on history, the real thing. It always was about proper, right and proper management of game so all of us could and should enjoy the outdoors and, and here's where your like the many who are lost, put food on our tables. You so arrogantly and ignorantly feel as though you have to break it to us, lol, you don't have a clue ole boy.

Exactly right Catch.

Eh...wot?

Not sure how to pull up Archives from the thread or post pics but I wish someone would pull up the Tribute to Jonathan and some of his old photos. His pictures were some of my favorite post on this site bar none. He had a real love for all the wildlife especially the birds.
