I always figured that ole Al Gore missed a great opportunity when he made up Global Warming as his hoax.
If you are going to make up something out of thin air which is going to destroy life on the planet, a better strategy would be to go with, "Man is causing the next ice age in the very near future."
If you want to see death and destruction, bring on an ice age.
