Sunlight is very important. They say that getting sun on your body early morn and late eve is also beneficial and provides different benefits than the rest of the day.

And dermatologists will tell you too much sun is harmful. But, I agree with you. I think sun can be harmful to a fair-skinned person.

It is very important, but unless you live near the equator and are outside all the tie you cant get enough from the sun. The normal recommended D levels are also way to low. We have ours checked and I try to keep mine over 100.

This doctor has done a lot with vitamin D. I know people that have been "cured" with his protocol.

yes, vit D was in many covid preventative plans as it was found early on that those fighting it had generally lower D levels.

I would love to take a supplement but when I took extra vitamin D it raised my resting heartrate WAY too much for my liking.

I had the same problem when I increased mine over the 5,000 units I was taking.

I'm watching this post now.
I was just tested way low on D. Doc put me on once week super high dose for 3 months. I actually could feel a different the next day and told my doctor. He said low as I was it didnt surprise him I could feel difference had heard others say it before.
I see my oncologist next week got some questions for him now. Was neurology that tested found I was low.
So much fun getting old.

We buy ours off amazon and prefer Natures Bounty gelcaps in 2500 or 5000 IUs. You should take K2-MK-7 with D3. It puts calcium where it needs to go. Also if you are eating a lot of fructose it will inhibit vitamin D absorption.

Scott, this is what I take. Most store bought vitamins are synthesized...using non natural ingredients. Bad. They do not absorb into the body well and you end up eliminating them . Plus, if vit K2, and magnesium for total utilization, is not included , the money spent is wasted. The body works on natural supplements as a cooperative team , one nutrient depending on another for complete absorption and utilization throughout the body. I've spent some decades studying this , and always keep up to date and look for the best for my money.

Never get cheap over the counter synthesized "vitamins".

This D3 has good ingredients, and good high dosage IU's, so you don't need to take a lot. I usually take two in winter, one in summer.

In this link, scroll on down and read the ingredients and what they do.
