I grow a lot of fruit on my homestead. Most will end up as jam, wine, or consumed fresh. My favorite is blackberry/blueberry jam.

I freeze rhubarb, tart cheries, currents, raspberries ans strawberries and then make different batches through the year. I like some rhubarb in all of mine.

Just made a small batch of Japanese Knotweed jam, never made it before but had a sample last year at a primitive type gathering. Waiting for my attempt to cool down.

Very cool!! Blackberry seems to be number one. Anybody ever try pine cone jam? Sounds different but it’s very popular in some parts.

we make raspberry and strawberry preserves because that's the cheaper fruit we have access to. I like preserves because of real pieces of fruit. I do not care for jams.
