T-Rex if you can, get someone to help and get rid of stuff, too often hoarding = Fire hazard and you don`t want this.

Super cub, you may need to buy certain things, I will give you this but having to rebuild your house due to a fire or worst having to make arrangements for a funeral is not something you want to mark on the agenda.

Unfortunately, hoarding is not about misplacing good tools but moreless accumulating combustible materials like newspapers, cardboard boxes....things that may not be needed...things that are considered a fuel load and which may prevent you from escaping a fire.

We all know someone who is dealing or struggling with this and there is not wrong with offering help.

If the junk is steel and/ or aluminum, take it to the local scrap yard. I have to admit higher scrap steel prices really help with getting rid of junk. Just hope you can get someone to help you get rid of the junk.

I help set up an auction for an elderly neighbor whose husband had passed away. As I was putting things together, I realized he had 5 hand staple guns. When I asked her why he had so many? She said he would misplace them. Rather than look around for one when he needed it, he would go buy another one.
