Wow alot of good feedback. Thanks everyone for taking time to share your opinions on what gun to get. I have considered CZ , Ruger, and Tika. But now I'll have to do some research on the others mentioned . Thanks again its always fun looking for a new rifle.

I've got 4 cz rifles and the fit, finish, craftsmanship and accuracy are second to none. Providing the price is right I wouldn't mind adding a few more and if I didn't have a soft spot for guns I'd throw the rest in the bush.

I shoot alot of different rifles and some things you may/may not care/think about when buying a small caliber rifle like a .204 is action length. Tikka's are some what short but for 243/.308/22-250 length-not really .204/.223 length. Same as Ruger.CZ 527 actions are designed for this size of cartridge-same as Sako if you can find one. Anschutz makes a killer little .204 again if you can find one-and they are not cheap-but they shoot incredible( I own one of these). But if you are wanting something reasonable-you simply cannot go wrong with a CZ 527 American in.204,Don't own a .204 in a CZ 527,but several others in small rifle calibers and they are awesome!-They stopped making CZ 527's but I am sure you can probably find one down there. Maybe even a Howa mini action-but I am not familiar with these at all.

.204 is an absolute killer of a caliber-accurate,amazingly flat and kills coyotes DRT if you do your part.Nice light recoil as well

Nor west, my CZ does have a set trigger on it. I don’t use it while hunting but have used it on the bench.

I sure like mine for those far off magpies and crows. No gophers here but would work good for them as well
