We got a phone call today from the school about nova… apparently when the teacher asked the kids to “ draw “… nova pulled out her two fingers with her thumb up… apparently that’s considered a threat and nova was taken to the principals office and they brought in the school counselor…. The school asked if there were any firearms in the home,,,… that’s none of their business!!! They are teaching kids that sex and other crap is ok,, but an imaginary pointy gun is a threat?? Absolutely ridiculous!!

My son was 7 and I took him back packing in CO for a mule deer buck. He wasn't ready to shoot one but I did let him bring his 22. Went to the school and told them I was taking him out for a couple weeks for the deer hunt. I needed to know what he needed to do school work wise. First thing they said was they couldn't allow that. This was in 1990. Got pretty excited when I said I was not there for permission. We had a great time. Killed a nice buck. He still talks about eating back strap cooked on a camp fire. Don't let them have an inch.

Did trapping programs my adult life at schools in Missouri. The kids enjoyed the presentation.they are the future. My oldest daughter works in the school system. She was raised with her mother and fathers values. I have not given up yet. The area I live in has 2000 people. It sad the big cities like St Louis lets this BS. Continue. It’s time to lock up the S ( not ok). And throw the key away

I used to go and pick my kid up from elementary school early when the day was very good for duck hunting....they would ask why and I would say for hunting.... this was in a liberal college town with all women staff at the school.
