Granny and mom fed us like that until the mid 2000’s. I have great memories of sitting around a lunch table in the 80’s and 90’s in a field or shed with 10-20 other guys and gals. They did it right. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, salads, pies, cookies, the works. We switched to sack lunches then bring your own by 2010. I miss the slower days when we had time to sit down for a hour.
