Of course I always send Cheryl a box of chocolates before every sale too. I highly recommend that. Girl loves them chocolates.

Shakeyjake - the most important thing about deal with FH is PATIENCE!!
They are a small operation when compared to what NAFA was. Everyone on their staff wears multiple hats. Things will happen and get updated in due time.
Everything is cool!! X2

Tried signing into fha and got a alert saying my connection is not secure. Don't know what that means or if it's their end or mine. I’m getting the same thing. Just went into 2 accounts and no problems or "not secure" notice. Suggest system may have been down for updating accounts. Accounts were updated overnight at least as far as wild silver fox mid PM yesterday and suspect yote and 'rats are done too i.e. all yesterday updated on accounts.

Well, on the beaver i didn't sell locally (had an overall average of I think $23 for my offer) I ended up with 52 @ 34.31 avg. The funny thing to me is a beautiful coastal select heavy brown only fetched $6 more than a bit up half rotten blanket that brought $40! Blows my mind. And obviously one tends to exert more effort on the put up for a beautiful beaver than one does on the crap.
And I said this at least once before....if you have a #1 blanket beaver..... better nick a few times with your skinning knife to get it into the gd dmg grade. My blanket 'gd dmg' were $40 all the way through. Some of my slights didn't quite make that number. I know, crazy. And same thing with lots in the same string having such different prices, identical grades. Maybe they see something in the lot they like when they inspect them before the auction?

$80, nothing, do I have $70….then the bids come in and the cat sells for $110.

Better off to not to put em up, if you have an outlet for frozen pelts.

And same thing with lots in the same string having such different prices, identical grades. Maybe they see something in the lot they like when they inspect them before the auction? All the lots in the same string usually only have one show lot that the buyers can look at. So it is not the pelts in the individual lots that they are bidding on. Just a matter of people getting the number of pelts they need for a specific order, and being done buying after they get as many as they need. Sometimes they drop the price by one bid increment, but it opens up the floor to other buyers to bid up the price. Or a buyer trying to catch up with the auction to line up what they need.

On my trapper portal it still says no lots found.... Mine says the same. The not knowing is killing me. Almost like waiting for Santa.

Luck of the draw sometimes which lot you fur lands in. Think there’s a Ruskie bidding too, slipped through all the sanctions….lol

I wish I could have held out and sold the rest of my beaver on this sale. Had bigger sizes and better quality at the K. Falls OTC sale (in March) and averaged $26 on the 100 I sold there.

I debated about shipping but there is no agent close and shipping was going to cost over $100 to get it there . So I took my 22.61 average from Groenewold when he came through Tennessee. I hear you. I had to drive 400 miles roundtrip to get my fur to an agent.
