If prices are this bad next year it will be decade of mostly a poor fur market. Tough to stay in business this way. Thank god for Chaga! Who knew fungus would be more profitable than fur? P.S. I can't visualize the end of this, but I wish we could come up with some more new creative reasons for a 10 year market slump.. "It is our view that our business is now well on its way for another good run ahead and that strengthening prices on most items will continue." So much for Mark's prediction. LOL

Think my bvr be ok. Otter yeah think I'll be disappointed. Guessing on otter you may have done a little better in the country than the twenty five dollars or so the auction brings. At least you’re trapping the right species. Really thought the coon were even worse than I expected. Chinese may find it easier to go to a warehouse in China and get their coon than an auction.Keep waiting on the rat market like for three years now . Eventually the trade should run out of ranch mink I hope

Anyone else have their entire sales record & and lot listings for this just finished May sale disappear ?
I just refreshed my trapper portal records to look for any possible private treaty action and the whole record of this May auction just vanished into the thin air of the ethernet ?

In typical FHA fashion they sold beaver 8 to 10 dollars less than the recent country levels.

They been offline for days. But I finally got to see mine this morning. Averages 54 bvr=28.45, sold 69 of 74 otter=29.01, Iowa early coon with grandkids sold 22 with 7 unsold=2.82 before commissions. Back to marketing in the country. Good education tho. Wasn’t just my coon then Dean. LOL
