When you dry pelts too quickly with a fan in warm temps the leather will burn like Tomcat said.
The OP said he wants to know the pitfalls of drying fur in summer.Summer is warm,unless he lives in the southern hemisphere.So to re iterate-in a cooler area,run de humidifier if needed,bug spray, trim ears and lips.Dont dry too quickly (fan) in warm weather,dont dry in the sun-leather will burn.
