4. This page is intended for the sale, trade or purchase of used trapping equipment and not a place to sell new items, or stuff you manufacture.
5. No Begging for free stuff
6. A post may only be brought to the top purposely three times, and will be locked after the third time. Once a post has been locked or deleted, it cannot be put back on the forum for one month.
7. Make it clear what you wish in the title, not just WTT or WTB
8. The only reply allowed on each thread is a reply by the post initiator. All questions and communications will be done by PMs only. If PMs aren't answered in a timely manner, the poster will be banned from using the Trap Shed. (Exception to Rule #8 - A reply is allowed by a person who sends payment. Once payment sent is posted, the post will be locked.)

I have some American Woodsman magazines for sale. American Woodsman magazine was published monthly by S. Stanley Hawbaker. The magazine had some awesome covers, it was published from July 1951 until the final joint issue of November/December 1955. I am offering 6 issues for sale including the very first issue.

This was the first issue, July 1951, the awesome cover was a painting by E. J. Sawyer. The magazine is in pretty good shape, it does have minor wear along the spine. Great article by Bill Nelson titled Trail of the Sable, another interesting article was "Wild Crude Drugs" by Walter Chansler. $12.00 plus shipping.

This issue is dated May 1952, it is in nice condition, the front cover of a Lake Sturgeon was by Leon Pray, an interesting article titled "Cats and Cat Trapping was by Frank Terry. $9.00 plus shipping.

January 1953, nice condition, awesome Mountain Lion cover by Earl Sherwan, articles of interest are Trail of the Mink by Ira Scott and Trapping the Elusive Coyote by Paul Holsinger
$9.00 plus shipping.

The February 1953 issue is in nice condition, the front cover of a Ruffed Grouse was a painting by E. J. Sawyer. A muskrat trapping article by Walter Chansler and a Cougar trapping article by Arthur Woolen highlighted this issue. $9.00 plus shipping.

June 1953, this issue is in nice condition, the front cover shows a pair of Canada Geese with their brood, it was a painting by Earl Sherwan. A couple interesting articles were A Trip Up the Alaska Highway by Lena Sexton and The Art of Fur Prospecting by James Lawrence. $9.00 plus shipping.

August 1953, this issue is in nice condition, the front cover shows a Mountain Goat, it was a painting by E. J. Sawyer. Articles of interest include "What Is The Future For Wild Trapped Furs" by S. Stanley Hawbaker and Hand Gun Bucks by James Brady. $9.00 plus shipping.

I accept personal checks, money orders and PayPal. Get all 6 magazines for $45 plus shipping, the magazines would be shipped Priority Mail in a flat rate padded envelope anywhere in the USA for $8.50. If individual magazines are requested I will need your zip code to quote shipping, a single issue would be mailed First Class Mail Package in a padded envelope.
