Thanks, Patrice! Got the goods all packed and ready to go. Big pile of antique double and single bit axes, a couple adze, really nice hewing axe head, linesman's climbing spikes, some spectacular old longbows from the early 1900's, bunch of unused McCann Canoe Paddles from the early 1970's, nice old smoothbore "foraging gun" from the 1870's (great wall hanger with a functioning lock)...on and on and on... ..Everything is priced to sell and I love to haggle.

Going to be a good time!!!!!!

Christine and I were all set to travel today. Both, District 5 and District 6 rondies. Unfortunately we won't be able to make either one. A family event came up late last night, nothing serious; but we will be staying close to home. We hope to see y'all at the FTA convention next week.

Well, just got home again! The WTA D5 Rondy was a blast despite reduced turnout. Nice to see all that were there. The demos by Muskrat Walt, Jimmy and JSell were really good. Got to meet, and buy a nice 660 from MChewk. I think Trap Setter may have had to rent a UHaul to get all his raffle prizes home. Always great to see The Boy and his cousin who made a haul on nightcrawlers last night. Bill Wrasse, Junior Prudlick, and Jim Gordon coordinated a fine, fun event. Bruce Keys-despite our combined efforts, energy, plethora of tickets, and machismo somebody else snuck in and won the prize we both wanted!

Thanks to Muskrat Walt for the fishing reel for me and the muskrat float for my Grandson. Greatly appreciated! Always good to spend time with you, my friend!

Scott_aR-Hope all is okay. WTA D5 will be back at it next year and hope you can make it!

Thanks Moosetrot yup we are all good. Christine got to see her son and his fiancee , It's been almost two years since they flew ( I'd say into but it's more like through) town the last time. We just got back home and my son calls and says his wants to bring the grandkids down, they want to go swimming. Lol it a win all the way around.

It was sure nice to see everyone again The Boy had a great time and his Cali cousin couldn't stop talking about his new muskrat trap, skunk video and of course the FRESH honey!!! I think between those two and his little sister they had it about gone before we left camp tonight lol.

I had the lucky streak on the raffle today for sure but Moosie took home another one of my bridger 5's not sure who donated the coon boards the cousin won but we will be making one into a sign for their camp site then they will proudly display it in their yard in San Diego. The Boy was wearing his belt knife all day and I had to wake him up off the couch to take it off tonight.

Thanks again to everyone who made this another memorable event! D5 must be the greatest district in all the land.

Edit: Wow I didn't notice the signature in the book till I looked again this morning! And to think I almost gave it away.
