Does not seem fair! I hope you get more educated legislators soon. For a nation built on hunting and trapping the USA shure gives in a lot of your basic privilege's. The people making these laws probably own cats who are rapidly destroying North Americas song bird populations. i know you need a farm cat to control the rodents but city cats are not necessary.

If it was legal here, I would eat ducks in the spring, I have actually, as I've caught a few in beaver traps, and didnt waste them. I am not fond of duck.

Might be the diet that far east. Here by the time they get here in the spring they have fed in the parries for a month.
