Cell phones (smart phones) They allow 6 billion people in the world to be connected worldwide, without having to lay millions of miles of fiber optics, wire, poles etc. etc. It would have taken generations to accomplish that if at all and that is the 6 billion who were not connected prior, we can add the other billion plus who were connected prior. I am planning to lease my hunting cabin to a missionary family for a few months as they come to WI to be able to be with a family member with cancer. All the communication and establishing times etc. were done via smart phone as they are currently in Thailand.

Too many great discoveries and inventions to list. I always wondered how anyone figured out how to make iron out of iron ore in the ground.
