Think I own a dozen and one Burris and one Minox. Two go back to the days they were called Gold Ring. Never had but one problem and it was a LPS in 98, which they quickly discontinued and offered owners any Leupold scope they wanted as a warranty claim.

I have never had a Leopold fog up. I did have one completely fall apart inside once. I called Leupold they had me send it to them. They replaced it in just a few days, no cost, no questions. That scope was on a 375H&H and had several years of hard field use.

I have no idea why you would avoid Leupold. They have had some of the best glass, for the money, for decades. I own several and have never had to test the lifetime warranty. Couple of reasons but for what I'm doing right now they seem they would be a good place to go , forgot to add , also interested in older models that may not be produced anymore but can still be found on the used market possibly If you find an older scope in the 3 series you definately could get what you want—- Vari 3 or VX3. Not sure if that series is still available or not. I thought they made some changes in recent years and eliminated some models. You use to be able to get them basically configured however you wanted—-regular dials or turrets, fixed objective or adjustable and with a wide selection of reticle. Over the years I bought a couple on sale without turrets and if you sent them in to customer service they’d have them replaced with turrets. I’m fairly sure mils were available but mine are in moa but with everything you listed. If the three series isn’t still available you might look at Mark series; it should have mil dot and turret setup but not sure on the AO. But I’m guessing anything new that fits your request is pushing $1k. Just my own preference but Luppy glass isn’t the clearest in my eyes. However if you talk to scope folks you’ll find glass becomes a real personal and subjective thing. One thing I have never had issue with is the ability of the turrets go out you where you want to go and then return back to zero

I just put a 4x12x50 CDS from Leupold on a 308. I was extremely skeptical as nothing ever works as it should for me. BUT, when I put the custom dial on and got to playing, it was dead on! 3-500 yds all you have to do is turn the dial to the number. I will play at even longer ranges shortly. No more counting clicks, holdover or cheat card taped to the side. Plain old single crosshair, put it on and send it. If I had it to do over, the only thing I would do is get stronger objective maybe.
Trash your goals and plans for life. Just wing it and you'll never be let down!

Why would anyone have a reservation about the cost of a scope vs the rifle? If you can’t see what you wish to shoot, what good is the rifle. It your scope is not dependably accurate, the rifle is worthless. If you lack confidence in your rifle or scope, you will probably miss.
Just my opinion. Same goes for binocs. They must be as good as your scope. Both need to be good. Same goes for your trigger. Most shots are sub 100 yards. Not sure I've actually shot at an animal past 75.

After sunset and before sunrise is when your good glass and larger objective lens pays dividends...scope or binocs. My hunting rifle has Leupold gold ring x50 and my bino is minox x56. The difference compared to lower end x40 or less is huge.
