I run 2 dozen 550 OS and 2 dozen of the original MB #3 Alpha. I would never rust a trap intentionally. Degrease it and wax it after a season or two dye them and then wax. Traps are going to be covered so no need to worry about them blending in with dirt. Both are excellent Coyote traps. They bed well and hold up season to season. I use a 4-Wheeler or Gator to run my line, so weight is not an issue. I add a mid-chain swivel and a good quality cable or Chain stake, and they are ready to go.
