If you still had fur or a balance at NAFA you might want to look in your email.

I do not expect to see one penny of it but it is on their list.

Actually It's not from NAFA It's from whoever Is handling the bankruptcy Issue. I doubt that anyone will see any money but you never know.

The Canadian company that is handling the NAFA bankruptcy is still at work. They are trying to collect money that is owed NAFA so that they in turn can give money to people that are owed money.

As with anything legal, it is a slow process. Especially considering many countries are involved. There are several entities in the US that owe money to NAFA and collecting that money is proving difficult.

While I doubt shippers will recover all the money owed them by NAFA, I feel confident they will receive some part of their money.

Shippers owed money by NAFA are being asked to complete a form and return it to the court appointed company handling this case. The deadline to return the form is August 3, 2023.

If you received this form, please take the time to fill it out and return it before the deadline.

Find your name and if you agree with the amount you are owed, you do not need to do anything. If you disagree, you have to follow the instructions to respond by August 3, 2023. Otherwise the court will assume the amount you are owed is correct and you will not be able to challenge it after August 3, 2023.

last check they sent me bounced. had to refund the bank plus pay an overdraft fee. not sure i will cash another one. if one shows up

They only owe you $72 09,so You could likely write that small amount off.

Thanks, I had missed this post when I posted. For the doubters, I did get a check from them back in March for close to $2k and it cleared the bank. I still have hope I might get more. I have been trying to open the documents in my phone and it’s not working very well. I will try my computer, maybe I will be able to see my “claim”.

i already did. thank goodness i got nervous and didnt send them my catch that year. that was junkers left over. i cant get over a bad check, especially since i paid an over draft fee. its not the paltry sum its the rub i paid the bank i took it too. in good faith.
