Play a radio. An old transistor radio or a weather proof speaker ran outside. Doesn't have to be loud at all. Volume 1 will be enough if your yard is small. Put it on a timer. This has always worked for my dad's vegetable garden. Unheard by you or the neighbors but enough to make the animals edgy. Dad plays the local A.M. polish channel
