They work well. For my eggs layer I have their coup built on a car trailer also copied off of Salatin. But his are on hay wagons. My trailer coup stays inside my premier one electric net goat fence.

Ya need to clip one of their wings. Cutting them with a long nose aviation snip is easy. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/07/full-3135-181462-20230630_161130.jpg) Using a Irwin snip it is like using a pair of scissors. Real easy.

Any real disadvantages of A frame tractors ? Always built hoops but metal got more expensive so moving to woods and since I'm not the best carpenter A frames seem like a good option That looks like a nice tractor

I've thought about a trailer mounted coop but with the 60 mph plus winds we get on occasion here I don't see them staying upright.

I ran meat turkeys in an A frame and it worked great. I would also run meat chicken in one without hesitation. You'd need a bigger one like shown for layers but if you're moving with a tractor it's not an issue.
Just happy to be here.

That looks like a nice tractor
Thirded! I'm just waiting on getting some more chickens. I figured I'd make a wheeled, A Frame Ark for them. But, I never saw the raised box section coming! It had even actually been concerning me: 'What about the wooden base of their box? All that wood in direct contact with the land?' Guess that's that issue sorted!
