Thanks for the opinions. It needs about 5” extension to move it away from the wall a bit more,yes. It’s on a concrete floor. Everything code and up to manufacture specs

I also have a 45 in my stove pipe but mine is about three feet
above my wood stove, I have no problems with draft or
smoke when opening stove door.
The problem with a 45 in the pipe is getting a brush pulled
thru for cleaning and also ash or creosote can hang up
in the 45, having it closer to the stove you can tap on the
elbows with your hands to knock it loose.
