I have relocated 5 tis year this far. I have chicks running around and they are still small enough to be a snake meal. So the legless folks have to go for now. I don't mind loosing and egg or two but draw the line at chicks.

I like rat snakes around because I keep grain to feed. That being said, I would not be cool with sharing too many eggs.

As if we talked it up yesterday. The admiral looked at the monitor at around 2100 last night and a big black snake was about to get into one of the nesting boxes. So we ran out, caught it and I relocated it a few miles away. With these warm temperatures they are getting pretty quick.

Just a long lizard with no legs I’ll about go in the ditch to miss big bull snakes around here no black snakes here but I see them in MO.
