In Wisconsin, yes.

ahh but when does it stop counting as your limit in WI is the real question

also all water is public water in WI some you would just need to be air dropped into to get to in WI

what the law is and how they could catch you are 2 different things

letter of the law says in your possession
if it is a tank in your garage that would definitely be in your possession

if it you fillets them and place them in your freezer , the are still in your possession and part of the possession limit

however give them to your friends and they remove them from your property then no longer in your possession

the tricky one is is your pond your possession , you can't see them , you don't know if the snapping turtle ate them.

there are also legal issues with bucket stocking fish as others have pointed out.

I would say to be fair to other anglers , you should limit your self to a daily bag limit and treat it like if you filleted it and gave it to friends , your probably breaking a few laws but , daily bag limit is at least being fair to other anglers

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

My guess is that it counts as your daily limit, since you are depleting the species of fish from the original waters.

Unless released unharmed IMMEDIATELY they would be considered in your possession and count as your daily limit. Check with Clay Creech on here, ex Mo Agent.
