Lots of folks are suggesting leaving items at the vendors booth to pick up later. Three thoughts about doing this.

- make a list of every booth you have items at so you remember to collect everything you bought.

- some vendors pack up early so don’t wait til the end to collect your items.

- the vendor booths are only so big, imagine if every one bought items and left them for later pickup. Be considerate.

Have fun shopping!!

Thursday/Friday leaving stuff should be fine outside one or two vendort unless they're doing a late demo.

Dont wait until Saturday to buy stuff-Lots of vendors pack up and leave on Saturday.I guess they have a long trip home and have to unpack at home on Sunday.
The place is pretty empty by noon Saturday,at least the ones I have attended in the past.

Depends on the crowd... Last year the dealers seemed to stay around longer than usual.

Then again we had the grounds cleaned up and ready to leave by 9am Sunday...

I suggest you leave your name and cell phone number with your gear should the vendor decide to leave early for what ever reason.

SOME vendors will offer free shipping if they forgot something you need. I usually dont take them up on it unless it is a big order. If you want to eat lunch do it at 11 am. At noon the lines are usually long

First timers may not understand how big this event is. You do not get a program till you get there. They will be a lot more vendors than you see listed. Also keep in mind that there is a tailgate section and a lot of sellers set up there.

In the tail gate area, cash is king.

You can join the NTA at the convention and thus go to the members only demos.

Be prepared to do a lot of walking. You won’t see everything in just one trip around.

If you see something you really want to buy and it’s a good price, grab it when you first see it. If it is a really good deal, it most likely will be sold by the time for come back.

Sorry, can’t help you with your second question. Maybe bring a small wagon to carry your purchases, but that can get a bit annoying.

Most important - have FUN!

Ok, thank you. I'm young so walking isn't anything to me.

I'll take you up on that Paul. I'll make sure to stop by. Probably going to take a while since I'll stop and talk to everyone.

We take cards/cash/Venmo/PayPal I'd say 1/2 is cash the rest split between the other 3.

Ok, I figured cash was the best bet. I'm definitely going to stop by your guy's booth since I've always wanted a skinning machine.

2 - If you see stuff you need, grab it. I held off one year buying chain and cable because I didn't want to haul it out to the car mid-day and was screwed when vendors started closing up shop. Thankfully Cumberlands stayed open till the official time and had stock!

3 - Take cash and card. If they don't mind doing card, use it, but definitely have cash.

4 - Slow down and wander and BS with folks. EVEN THE GROUCHY LOOKING VENDORS. Ask questions.

Yep, I've started culminating a list. Luckily, I have a long drive to think about it. I plan to talk to every person I can.

Yeah, I get surprised by the state ones, so I figure I'll be a little overwhelmed for a while.

Also heads up to any guys that will be there with Mark Steck Lures, I'm looking to buy them. More specifically his coon and rat lures. I know he's done making them but I'm hoping I can find someone with some left.
